Job Description NPI Manufacturing Engineering Ukraine Verify are currently seeking a supplier based NPI Manufacturing Engineer to workon-site at a supplier facility in Western Ukraine (Mukachevo area anticipated).Local accommodation will be provided.Candidates must be fluent in Ukrainian for working with the supplier and shop-floor personnel, and English for reporting and customer interaction.The program involves supporting the establishment of a production capacity for machining of customer furnished forgings.Primary Focus: Machining process deployment & manufacturing capability establishmentRole Purpose:To establish, commission, and stabilise machining capability at customer supplier site for customer-furnished forged components, ensuring new equipment, tooling, and processes are fully deployed and capable of supporting NPI production.Primary Activity:Support commissioning and deployment of newly installed machining equipment supporting forged componentsValidate machining processes, tooling, fixtures, cutting strategies, and machine programmesVerify routings, set-ups, and work instructions for machining of customer-supplied forgingsSupport shop floor lay out and optimisation of machining processesEnsure forging handover requirements (condition, traceability, material state) are correctly managed at receiptIdentify manufacturing risks affecting dimensional integrity, surface finish, or material condition post-machiningOversee operator training and ensure machining processes are repeatable and controlledInterface with supplier engineering, production, and maintenance teams to resolve manufacturing issuesProvide regular readiness and risk reporting to customer stakeholdersSupport formal handover into Phase II activitiesRequired Experience & Competencies:Minimum 5+ years' experience in aerospace, defence, or heavy engineering manufacturing environmentsStrong hands-on experience with machining of forged componentsProven background in equipment commissioning, CNC machining process set-up, and industrialisationStrong understanding of machining risks associated with forged materials (distortion, residual stress, surface integrity)Ability to interpret engineering drawings, routings, and technical documentationFluent in both Ukrainian and English highly desirableDefence manufacturing experience highly desirableWillingness to travel to the UK for program orientationJBRP1_UKTJ
