Building Surveyor

We are proud to be partnering with a South West based Housing Association, who are looking to appoint a Surveyor to work on roofing programmes, both planned and reactive.This will be a full-time position based in Hampshire and Wiltshire, which will be largely home based, with some site visits and an extremely rare requirement to attend an office. The salary for the role is £44,127 per annum, with mileage paid from home for site visits.The ideal candidate will have a HNC and access to their own vehicle.Duties will include (but are not limited to):Overseeing and managing the Roof Renewal Programme across Hampshire and surrounding areas, with occasional projects in WiltshireConducting regular health and safety inspections to ensure compliance with standards and regulationsLeading progress meetings with contractors, monitoring performance, and reviewing KPIsManaging contract administration, ensuring all obligations are metCarrying out post-inspections for completed roof renewal projects to ensure quality and complianceExperience required:Experience required in Social HousingExperience working on planned maintenance projectsSkills, knowledge and expertise required:HNC/ HND/ EquivalentFull UK Driving LicenseRewards and Benefits:Hybrid workingFlexible working daysWorking hours:37 hours per weekMonday – Friday, 9am-5pm (Flexibility as required)Please note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.
