Accounts Payable Administrator

Job Description We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an Accounts Payable Administrator to join their finance team. This is a full time, permanent position. Salary - 27,694 per annumLocation - AmmanfordAnnual leave - 24 days plus BH. Hours of work - Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5pmAs an Accounts Payable Administrator you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of purchase ledger transactions, ensuring financial records are well maintained and support effective reporting.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess purchase invoices and purchase orders, including three-way matchingEnsure accurate VAT treatmentManage supplier payments (weekly/monthly) in line with agreed termsReconcile supplier statements and the purchase ledger control accountProcess employee expenses in line with compliance requirementsPerform daily bank reconciliationsResolve supplier queries and discrepanciesSet up and maintain supplier accounts and recordsSupport month-end processes, including accruals and prepaymentsAdditional duties may be required as appropriate.Continuous ImprovementContribute to process improvements and operational efficiencySupport cross-functional collaboration and improvementsPerson SpecificationQualificationsFinance/business qualification or relevant experience(Desirable) AAT, CIMA, ACCA or similarExperience & SkillsStrong Excel and IT skillsExperience in a finance or accounts payable roleAttention to detail and strong organisational skills#High level of accuracy and professionalismAble to meet deadlines and manage workload effectivelyTo be considered for this role, please upload your CV or call Naomi on 07506 949615.
