£30,000-£32,000 Per annum + Excellent BenefitsVenue TechnicianPermanent PositionManchesterFull Driving Licence - EssentialOur client is looking for an experienced Audio-Visual Technician/Venue Technician.Reporting to the Head of Technicians, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality audiovisual services to various venues across the North-West. This position requires technical expertise, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in dynamic event environments. Our client offers excellent training and progression path for the right candidate.Key Roles & ResponsibilitiesCollect vans from the warehouse and deliver a wide range of AV, lighting, staging, and event-related equipment to various venues across the North-WestSet up, operate, and manage a wide range of audio-visual equipment, including sound systems, projectors, screens, lighting rigs, and stagingEnsure all equipment is installed and operates efficiently to meet event requirementsProvide on-site technical support during events, troubleshooting any AV-related issuesAssist in the preparation and de-preparation of AV equipment at the warehouseWork collaboratively with venues, event coordinators and clients to ensure smooth execution of AV servicesAdhere to company health and safety proceduresAssist other departments and perform other duties as needed to meet business needsAbout YouFull, clean driving license (ability to drive a van is essential)Experience with AV equipment setup and operation, including sound, lighting, and stagingGood knowledge of troubleshooting AV technical issuesGood physical stamina for handling heavy equipmentFlexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and evenings as required by event schedulesExcellent communication skills and a customer service-oriented mindsetAbility to work as part of a team or unaccompanied under own initiativeHigh standard of personal presentationGood interpersonal skillsGeneral IT knowledgeResourceful and able to work under pressureFlexibility and a can-do, customer-focused attitudeKeen eye for detail with a high standard of equipment presentationIn return the company offers a very competitive salary £30,000-32,000 per annum + benefits package along with secure and interesting employment.Next StepsFor further information please send your CV in confidence to Tracey at The Recruitment Fix JBRP1_UKTJ
