£35,000-£38,250 Per annum + Excellent BenefitsTechnical Project Manager Audio Visual / AVPermanent PositionManchesterFull Driving Licence - EssentialOur client is recruiting an experienced and versatile Technical Project Manager specialising in all round Audio Visual to join their team. The Technical Project Manager is crucial in ensuring the highest quality production for a wide variety of live, virtual, and hybrid events. The ideal candidate will contribute to the clients reputation for technical artistry and exceptional experiences in the live events industry.Key Roles & ResponsibilitiesWork as part of a team within our projects department, collaborating directly with clients throughout the project lifecycleMaintain and develop key client relationships, supporting business growthAttend and chair client meetings and site visitsTake clear, detailed client briefs and advise on appropriate technical solutions for eventsDevelop creative ideas and designs for client events, including preparation of CAD plansSpecify suitable equipment, create quotations and proposals, and manage budgetsUpdate booking software with event progress and milestonesBook and manage crew & resources, creating crew communication documentsLiaise with performers, venues, and other third partiesPrepare and manage health 'safety documents and proceduresWork on-site at venues across the UK and occasionally internationallyHands-on rigging/de-rigging and operation of equipment (advantage but not essential)Identify and develop new business opportunitiesPromote our products and services to generate new businessAssist other departments and perform other duties as needed to meet business needsTravel for team meetings, site visits, and event execution as requiredAbout YouMinimum 5 years' experience in the professional live events industryExcellent understanding of technical event production with effective communication skills to explain technical solutions clearly and without jargonEnthusiasm for developing creative designs and ideas that exceed client expectationsCuriosity to learn, resilience, and a can-do attitudePolished and professional manner, projecting confidence and enthusiasm to clientsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment and react quickly and efficiently to tasksHighly organized and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple projects, deliverables, and stakeholders simultaneouslyLeadership skills to lead by example and work effectively as part of a teamCustomer-focused mindset balanced with commercial awarenessKeen eye for detail and high standards of presentationFull UK Driving Licence and own transportWorking HoursIf you have the experience, we are looking for then you will already know that this is not a 9 til 5 job.
