Electro-Mechanical Technician 31,775 starting salary (16ph) Location: Alton Hours: 8am to 4pm MondayFriday, 37,5 hours per week Overtime: Daily at 1.5x basic rate Duration: Permanent Syntech Recruitment are excited to be supporting an aviation overhaul and repair business based in Alton, who are looking to expand their team with an Electro-Mechanical Technician . Work in a specialist aviation repair environment Daily overtime at 1.5x basic rate 25 days holiday + bank holidays Opportunity to apply transferable skills from industries such as white goods or electronics repair What youll be doing: Reading schematic drawings and circuit diagrams to diagnose and repair faults Carrying out soldering, testing and refurbishment of electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies Using oscilloscopes, multimeters and other bench equipment to fault find Completing work to CAA, EASA and FAA Part 145 standards Maintaining accurate records using Microsoft Office and the MRP system Ensuring all work cards and job packs are completed correctly What were looking for: Strong ability to read schematic and engineering drawings Proven experience with soldering and electronics/electro-mechanical repair Fault-finding experience using scopes, meters and standard workshop tools Transferable repair background (aviation or industries such as white goods/electronics repair) Computer literate (Microsoft Office & MRP systems) This role would suit someone with hands-on electro-mechanical skills, keen attention to detail, and a methodical approach to diagnostics.
