Some benefits are discretionary and may be subject to change.As aNurseryDeputy Manager, you will: Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children, staff, families, and visitors at all times Ensure EYFS and other regulatory frameworks are consistently met Support the administration of medication and maintain accurate, up-to-date care plans Provide children with engaging, age-appropriate environments, resources, and experiences Promote professionalism, respect, and positive communication across teams Motivate staff with creative ideas, feedback, and practical support to help achieve outstanding practice Maintain accurate records using EyMan and other relevant systems Carry out additional duties as required to support nursery operations Full UK driving licence required travel between sites is essentialRequirements:Essential: Full and relevant Level 3 Childcare qualification Minimum of 1 years experience in an Early Years setting Strong understanding of the EYFS statutory framework and safeguarding standardsDesirable: 1+ years experience in a supervisory or management role Level 5 qualification in Childcare, Management, or Leadership Experience of achieving a "Good" or "Outstanding" Ofsted outcomeWe are committed to safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
