Job Title: Business Systems ManagerLocation: Alnwick, NorthumberlandPackage: Competitive Employment Opportunity: PermanentOverview of the role:The Business Systems Manager's role is to help the business use its IT effectively. You will take ownership of and manage the company's IT infrastructure to identify, suggest and implement IT solutions that help drive the business forward. You will also monitor and maintain the security and stability of IT systems to ensure that they comply with industry standards and work as effectively as possible for the organisation.As a key figure in the organisation's IT, the responsibilities of this type of manager can vary. They lead the instigating and coordinating of IT systems development and administration while supporting end-users and the organisation.Key Responsibilities are but not limited to:Researching and recommending future technology to enhance business operationsEnsuring the company's cyber security meets industry compliance regulations and remains fully licensedRemaining up to date on the latest software developments to determine how they can positively impact the businessManaging relationships with software providers to ensure optimal service, including negotiating initial contractsLiaising with internal departments to determine their IT needs and working with them to implement new technology successfullyTraining staff to get the most out of their IT, including producing user guides for staff to referenceLeading projects relating to the IT architectureMaintaining the data warehouse and any repositories of business informationProduce IT reports for sharing with the executive suite when necessaryResolving IT issues as part of the wider (External MSP) IT support teamTo be considered for this fantastic opportunity you will have:A degree qualification in a relevant subjectDemonstrable experience as a Business Systems Manager or IT Project Manager in a large organisationCRM / ERP experience – you don’t need to have done full installs, but a solid understanding of ERP systems (ideally Sage 200) is expected, along with some project exposure to upgrades or enhancements.Experience with both App and Website technologiesA deep understanding of technical aspects of the systems and processes required as well as staying up to date with the latest technologies and trendsExcellent communication skills as working across departments with various stakeholders is keyStrong IT project management experience due to managing numerous and complex projects at any one time in a timely mannerTo be a natural problem solver and trouble shooterConfidence managing budgetsThe ability to effectively lead, communicating a clear vision, fostering collaboration and building trust with team membersStrong analytical skills with confidence analysing and interpreting large amounts of data with the experience to present findings to key stakeholdersFor more information on this fantastic opportunity please contact Adam Pearson at Imperial Recruitment Group.Imperial Recruitment Group is committed to being an equal opportunities employer.
