Transport Team Leader (PM Shift) Airdrie 40 hoursper week, on a5/6 Rota Working hours: 13:00 to 21:30 Basic hourly rate of13.39per hour plus 10% PM Shift Allowance ArrowXL is looking for a Transport Team Leader to join our team at the Airdrie site. In this role, youll play a key part in supporting the Transport Management team with day-to-day operations and clerical tasks, helping to ensure the smooth running of the department. To be successful in this role, youll need a full UK driving licence and proven experience in leading and coaching teams within a transport or logistics environment. What will the role involve? Lead, support and motivate your team of skilled service delivery crews, providing coaching and development support where needed. Ensure efficient fleet utilisation, resource planning, and cost control, while maintaining operational effectiveness and full compliance. Identify opportunities for improved efficiency within the Transport function, recommending and implementing changes where appropriate. Oversee the resourcing and development of your team, ensuring service delivery crews are fully trained particularly in driver CPC, service standards, and product installation. Make prompt, commercially focused decisions that protect customer service and maintain delivery schedules. Manage on-site resources including colleagues, vehicles, and equipment to ensure everything is in place to meet and flex with our customers changing needs. What are we looking for ? Minimum 1 year of experience working within a transport environment Proven track record of improving transport operations Experience in leading and coaching teams effectively Ability to interpret financial data and manage resource costs Strong commercial and financial awareness Excellent people skills influencing, coaching, and developing others Solid understanding of Road Transport Regulations Full UK driving licence required Whats in it for you?
