Base pay rangeDirect message the job poster from Discover Engineering Job Title: Digital Print Technician – 4 day working week Location: Accrington Salary: £28,000 per annum + Annual Performance Related Pay (PRP) Payment: Weekly Pay Working Hours: Tuesday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM About We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Print Technician to prepare and manage print ready files and colour management using RIP Software for a large format printing. Built on a foundation of collaboration and inclusion, this is a business where support and strong teamwork shape everything they do, offering a unique opportunity to engage with cutting-edge digital print technology. Prepare print-ready files and using RIP software (Raster Imaging Processor). Handle colour management processes to ensure accurate, high-quality output. Use AVA CAD software or similar for design and print layout adjustments. Manage print production workflows including file preparation, proofing, and final print output. Maintain efficient production timelines and uphold stringent quality control standards. Operate and maintain large format digital print machines. Proven experience in digital printing operations, particularly in a large format environment. Strong proficiency with RIP software, AVA Print Factory or similar, colour management, and file preparation tools. Familiarity with AVA CAD software or comparable design/prepress software. Excellent attention to detail and a strong sense of visual accuracy. Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced production setting. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
