Job Description Senior Credit Risk Modelling AnalystUp to 55KHybrid working (once a month in the office)An exciting and rewarding opportunity for an experienced Senior Credit Risk Analyst to develop and monitor Credit Risk and Impairment models, coaching and mentoring Analysts, identifying and maximising opportunities to improve model performance, contributing to the delivery of business goals and objectives.Key Responsibilities:Work collaboratively to develop and monitor the Credit Risk and Impairment modelsAnalyse model movements, segmenting to understand trends, and make recommendations to maximise performancePlay a key role in providing MI and insightful commentary based on model evaluation and impact assessments to drive continuous improvementCommunicate analysis/findings and monthly monitoring effectively to manager, team and senior stakeholdersDisplay strong attention to detailProvide effective coaching and mentoring of Analysts, building capabilities to support objectives and ensure all areas of governance, risk and compliance standards are adhered toChallenge current approaches, always seeking to improveAdhere to all governance, risk and compliance standards, ensuring models deliver the best outcomes for customers and the businessIdentify, build and maintain key internal and external stakeholder relationships to deliver the agreed commercial performanceKey Requirements:Experience of working within the retail, financial services sectorExtensive experience of credit risk or impairment model development and/or monitoringAdvanced knowledge in writing and reviewing SQL and Python/SAS code to analyse dataExtensive experience of working and delivering in a regulated environmentExcellent working knowledge of financial standards and guidelines e.g. FCA, TCF, Data ProtectionExperience coaching and developing the performance of othersDelivery and customer focussedAbility to plan and prioritise effectively to meet changing priorities and demandsExcellent communication and engagement skillsProven track record in effective facilitation and communication at multiple levelsCommercially astuteAbility to engage and influence stakeholders at an appropriate levelAnalytical, pragmatic and systematic approach to problem solvingAbility to manage conflict and know when to escalateIT literateSend your CV to [email protected] Sponsorship not available
