Probate & Private Client Solicitor

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Private Client Solicitor to join our reputable legal practice. The successful candidate will specialise in advising individuals on matters relating to estate planning, wills, Power of Attorney, trusts, probate, and succession. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a dynamic team, providing bespoke legal solutions tailored to clients'' personal and financial circumstances. The ideal applicant will possess strong negotiation skills and a client-focused approach, ensuring the delivery of exceptional service. Duties Drafting and reviewing wills, LPAs, trusts, and other estate planning documents with precision and attention to detail. Advising clients on inheritance tax planning, estate administration, and succession strategies. Managing a varied caseload of probate and estate administration matters from inception to completion. Negotiating terms with third parties, including financial institutions and other legal professionals, to facilitate smooth transactions. Providing clear legal advice tailored to individual client needs, ensuring compliance with current legislation. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients through professional communication and personalised service. Keeping up-to-date with changes in legislation affecting private client work and implementing best practices accordingly. Skills Proven experience as a Private Client Solicitor or in a similar role within a reputable legal environment. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to achieve favourable outcomes for clients. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently. Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the capacity to explain complex legal concepts clearly. A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail. Ability to work independently whilst contributing effectively within a team setting. A recognised legal qualification with current practising certificate.
