This position involves full teaching responsibilities, including lesson planning, marking, assessments, and participation in school meetings and events. You will deliver a broad and balanced curriculum, support pupil progress, and foster a positive and engaging classroom environment.Key Responsibilities:Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons across KS1 and KS2Mark and provide feedback on pupils' work following school policiesTrack pupil progress and maintain accurate assessment recordsSupport pupils with SEN and other additional needsParticipate in staff meetings, parents' evenings, and after-school activitiesEnsure the classroom is inclusive, safe, and stimulatingSkills & Experience:Qualified teacher (QTS preferred)Experience teaching primary pupils across multiple year groupsExcellent classroom management and organisational skillsStrong planning, assessment, and feedback capabilitiesTeam player, flexible, and confident in full class responsibilityAbout the SchoolAbingdon primary schools are typically 2-3 forms of entry, welcoming, and inclusive.
