You will work closely with and be supervised by the senior pharmacy technician, with full training provided to complete an NVQ level 2 or equivalent in pharmacy services. Main duties of the jobResponsibilities This role offers the chance to gain experience across all pharmacy areas, including pharmacy stores, dispensary, and wards. Responsibilities include: Accurate dispensing and distribution of pharmaceuticals to patients, wards, departments, hospitals, clinics, and other entities such as Powys Teaching Health Board, St David's Hospice, and Welsh Ambulance Service Trust. Distribution of stock pharmaceuticals, receipt of new stock, assembly of emergency kits, preparation of pharmaceuticals, and supply of basic non-pharmaceutical information. Use of pharmacy and other computer systems to perform tasks accurately and efficiently. Assisting in delivering a near-patient medicines management service to in-patients. You will share responsibility for delivering high-quality pharmacy services, prioritizing patient care and striving for excellence.
