Job Description United Offshore Support GmbH (UOS) is a leading global operator of sophisticated offshore support vessels specializing in the technical, crew and commercial management of high-powered anchor handling tug/supply (AHTS) vessels, large platform supply vessels (PSVs) and subsea vessels working in the offshore energy industry worldwide. Headquartered in Leer Germany, UOS has a growing office in Aberdeen and commercial management presence in London and Singapore. The on and offshore teams at UOS are highly experienced with a long track record of delivering safe and reliable operations to end clients in just about every offshore energy basin around the world.We are actively looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Crew Payroll Specialist to join our Team!The Crew Payroll Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all payroll processes within our crewing operations. This role is responsible for the end-to-end processing, monitoring, and control of payroll and related expenses for seafarers across the fleet.Main Responsibilities:Calculate and process payroll for sea personnel in accordance with applicable regulationsPrepare and distribute payslips and handle all wage-related mattersGenerate employment contracts, confirmations, and testimonials for seafarersMonitor and process travel expenses and additional crew-related costs (e.g. medical tests, re-bookings)Liaise and interact with insurance providers and German/international authorities regarding seafarersPrepare reports, statistics, and payroll data for budgeting and management purposesSupport the review and updating of wage scales, including benchmarking activitiesEnsure compliance with German labor law, social security regulations, and international maritime frameworks (e.g. MLC, STCW)Assist the crewing department with administrative tasks and coordination of crew-related activitiesContribute to the continuous improvement of payroll processes and internal proceduresQualifications:Bachelors degree in Economics, Payroll Administration, or a comparable qualification35 years of relevant experience, ideally within an international shipping companySolid experience in payroll processing and German labor lawFamiliarity with international maritime regulations (MLC, STCW)High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and reliabilityStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentProactive, structured, and solution-oriented working styleExperience working in a multinational and multicultural environmentProficiency in Microsoft OfficeFluency in German and EnglishOur Commitment:Flexible working hours and home office options.A long-term perspective and career development opportunities.Employee Benefits, e.g. welfare initiatives, team events, bike-leasing and others.Working in an international teamReady for a new challenge in a dynamic, global environment?If so, you've come to the right place!Join us at UOS and be part of something exciting.
