Job DescriptionJob Purpose:Managing offshore construction projects, duties include liaising with the client and conducting meetings to understand the requirements and working with them to provide safe and efficient solutions.Deliver within the construction function to develop project capabilities and to differentiate nexos from its competitors as a leading EPC contractor.Challenge the norm and how things are done to deliver better results for all stakeholders.Ensure a robust onboarding process is deployed for all project/contract personnel with specific focus on new starts.Ensuring adequate information is available to construction team to undertake planned project construction tasks.Determining trade mix requirements and durations to assist with long term planning on assets.Key Responsibilities:Promote the use of HSE standards to onshore and offshore teams. Including intervening if observe any breach of HSE and Quality procedures or practices.Contribute and take part in tender bids and compile feeds for multiple tenders within the business.Pricing and planning projects regarding costings and durations and drawing up execution plans for multiple projects within nexos. Scoping jobs to enable accurate durations and costings also highlighting tooling requirements. Inclusive but not limited to approving quotations, keeping the THC up to date, monitoring the associated costs/POs, carrying our regular inventory checks and performing follow up actions on any damages/lost tooling. Approve CCHPs for required projects and manage projects from survey to closeout.Check offshore daily reports for progress against scopes under their management.Provide input into HAZOP and HAZID meetings.Manage logistics and mobilisations of offshore team daily.Support exchange zones across their project/contract service provision.Assume project commercial responsibility for all projects where they are the project responsible person.Attending multiple DNV audits as the construction technical authority to ensure the company has continued compliance.Oversee construction focal points work duties and tasks. Skills & Qualifications:NVQ or City and Guild qualification required. Strong stakeholder management skills. Strong communicator and proven ability to deliver results across internal, and external, stakeholders. Extensive experience in leading successful teams. Proven ability in helping deliver complex construction projects in the energy industry. Strong planning skills and ability to adapt to change.Work Environment/Conditions:Offshore and Site travel required.Attendance in the office and client offices for meetings. Act as DOA when required for contract Construction Manager.
