We pride ourselves on supplying top-tier equipment to meet the rigorous standards of our customers.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a Warehouse Operative based in the Greater Aberdeen area. The Warehouse Operative will be responsible for day-to-day tasks including unloading and organizing deliveries, packing and dispatching orders, handling materials, and maintaining an efficient and tidy workspace. The role will also involve operating forklifts and adhering to health and safety protocols to ensure a safe and productive environment.Key ResponsibilitiesReceiving & Inspection: Offloading deliveries from vehicles, verifying shipments against paperwork, and checking for damaged or missing items.Stowing & Moving: Organising goods in the correct storage areas and moving stock using lifting gear, pallet jacks, or forklifts (if licensed).Order Picking & Packing: Collecting items for customer orders using handheld scanners, and securely packing them into crates or boxes for dispatch.Inventory Management: Conducting regular stock counts and updating warehouse management systems to maintain accurate records.Maintenance & Safety: Keeping work areas clean, following strict health and safety protocols, and reporting any faulty equipmentLoading and unloading goods using forklifts and manual handling techniques Operating warehouse management system (WMS) to track stock movements and update records - Sage ERPPicking and packing orders accurately for dispatch Managing shipping and receiving documentation to ensure timely deliveries Assisting with materials handling, including moving heavy items safely Conducting regular stock counts and maintaining organisation within the warehouse Ensuring health and safety standards are adhered to at all timesQualificationsSkills and experience in Unloading, Packing, and Material HandlingProficiency in Forklift Operation and current certificate is essentialClean driving LicenseKnowledge of and strict adherence to Health & Safety regulationsAttention to detail and organizational skills to maintain inventory accuracyAbility to work independently as well as part of a teamPrevious experience in a warehouse or industrial environment is a plus
