In this role, you will work alongside the Team Leader/Supervisor, Senior Analyst, and Analyst Grade 1 to ensure day-to-day priorities are met. You will carry out analytical tasks, equipment calibrations, and prepare job reporting requirements. Acting as a role model, you will mentor junior team members and ensure compliance with QHSE processes.ABOUT YOUYou will have experience working in a UKAS-accredited laboratory or hold a relevant degree/HNC. You are highly proficient in MS Office, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. A positive attitude, flexibility, and strong communication skills are essential. You will be hands-on, adaptable, and motivated to support both technical and operational excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform daily analytical activities in line with technical standards and client requirementsMentor and support junior staff in routine and new analytical techniquesPrepare accurate reports and maintain calibration standardsRepresent Intertek externally with professionalismSupport new projects, method development, and validation workEnsure compliance with QHSE standards (ISO 17025, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001)Promote Intertek values and contribute to continuous improvement initiativesRequired Skills and ExperienceDegree/HNC or equivalent experience in a UKAS-accredited laboratoryStrong IT skills (MS Office, data entry)Excellent interpersonal and communication skillsFlexible approach to working hoursAbility to work collaboratively and mentor othersWHAT WE OFFERJoin Intertek and become part of our global network of inspiring and entrepreneurial colleagues.
