About the Company:Kersia is a global leader in food safety and a specialist manufacturer of detergents and disinfectants. We provide a unique technical hygiene service to the food, beverage, dairy and food service industries. Working in successful partnerships with both blue chip and independent companies, our consistent growth and investment has enabled the company to develop into the leader in these market sectors.About the Role:We have recently acquired another business unit which has created a vacancy for a proactive and experienced HR Business Partner to join our existing team and play a key role in supporting our multi-site operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for an adaptable HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys making a tangible impact on both people and performance.Role Requirements: Act as a trusted advisor to managers, providing guidance on HR strategy, policies, procedures, and employment best practices.Partner with line managers to support recruitment activities and ensure sound, compliant decision-making throughout the hiring process.Assist with performance management cycles, learning and development activities, and workforce planning as required.Work closely with managers to foster employee development, support retention strategies, and contribute to a positive working environment.Lead and support the implementation of HR projects that align with business strategy, including policy reviews and process improvements.Produce accurate and timely reports on key HR metrics and development initiatives.Build and maintain strong working relationships across all sites to support effective communication and a cohesive, positive culture.Deliver day-to-day HR operations across Bury, Lockerbie, Mallusk, and Rochdale sites, including contract management and employee relations.Manage complex employee relations issues such as grievances, disciplinary procedures, absence management, dispute resolution, and redundancy processes.Regularly review and update HR policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and alignment with business objectives.Ensure all HR practices comply with GDPR and confidentiality standards.Be responsible for all elements of health 'safetySkills and Experience:Proven experience in a generalist HR role, ideally within a multi-site or industrial environment.Strong knowledge of HR practices and current UK Employment Law.Hands-on experience in recruitment and employee lifecycle management.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships at all levels.Experience handling complex ER cases with professionalism and discretion.Highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a wider HR team.Comfortable navigating change and supporting organisational transformation.CIPD Level 5
