Community Care Solicitor

A highly regarded South East law firm are recruiting for a Community Care solicitor to join them.You will join a highly regarded team who are experts in their field. The team help individuals and professionals with legal advice on the duties of public bodies and supporting clients throughout the process of securing the important services they are entitled to.Responsibilities will include:• Managing a mixed caseload of Community Care and Court of Protection matters. This includes both Property and Financial Affairs and Health and Welfare issues. • Assisting the Court of Protection Property & Affairs fee earners with Community Care/Public law and Court of Protection issues subject to Re ACC. • Dealing with new enquiries from lay clients and Professional Deputies • Advocacy work at needs assessments, dispute resolution meetings, statutory appeals and court or tribunal hearings.They would prefer if the successful candidate attended the office one day a week but they are open to someone working more remotely than this.
