HV Cable Jointer (11kv)Shetland Islands450500 per day (DOE) | All expenses coveredStart date: Thursday 21 August 2025NEOS Engineering are partnered with a specialist provider of cable jointing and high-voltagecontracting services, who are currently looking for a HV Cable Jointer (11kV) to support a short-termproject kicking off mid-August.This is a 2 to 2.5-week contract, starting Thursday 21August 2025, and is an ideal opportunity for anexperienced jointer who's confident working with PILC (Paper Insulated Lead Cables) and TycoRaychem kits.What's on offer: 450 per day (rising to 500 depending on experience) All accommodation, meals, travel, and hotel (in Aberdeen the night before mobilisation) paidfor A chance to work with a reputable business known for their delivery excellence in high[1]voltage cable worksWhat you'll be doing: Delivering high-quality HV jointing work on 11kV systems Working on PILC terminations and joints, cast resin joints, heatshrink applications Using Tyco Raychem kits to complete jointing to required standards Ensuring all works are carried out in line with health & safety requirements and client specsWhat you'll need: Proven background in HV cable jointing ideally with 11kV experience Confident working with PILC and cast resin joints Previous use of Tyco Raychem kits (essential) A valid Basic Scottish Disclosure or Full English Disclosure dated within 1 year (essential) Must be able to work under pressure and deliver quality work within tight timescalesThis is a hands-on, site-based role suited to someone who can hit the ground running.
