Rural Associate (4-8 PQE)Location: AberdeenTeam: Highly Regarded Scottish Rural Department Salary: £59,000-£69,000This is an opportunity for a Rural Associate (4-8 PQE) to immerse themselves in high-quality Rural Property work, advising clients who are at the heart of Scotland’s land, estates and communities.The RoleWhen you join this highly respected Rural department in Aberdeen, you’ll step straight into a team that works hand in hand with communities across Scotland, shaping the future of the countryside.This is more than transactional property work; it’s about advising landowners, estates, rural businesses and developers on matters that preserve heritage, support communities and embrace modern change such as renewable energy projects.You’ll be welcomed into a supportive and renowned Rural team, recognised for its technical strength, practical advice and long-standing client relationships. From day one, you’ll gain exposure to high-quality, varied work and enjoy the trust of Partners who will invest in your development while giving you genuine autonomy.The firm is seeking people with a true passion for the Rural sector. While Rural experience is ideal, they are equally open to applications from Real Estate lawyers who can demonstrate a strong interest in building a long-term career in this rewarding practice area.The WorkHandle a broad range of Rural property transactions, from sales and purchases to agricultural tenancies, estate management and renewable energy matters.Work directly with clients, managing relationships and delivering practical, commercially aware advice.Collaborate with Partners and colleagues in a friendly, well-connected team.Take on business development opportunities and play an active role in growing the department’s profile.Mentor junior colleagues, providing guidance on technical matters and supporting their professional development.Your Background4–8 years’ PQE, with experience in Rural or Real Estate.
