Senior Asset Manager / Senior Authorised PersonLocation: AberdeenAn opportunity has arisen for a Senior Asset Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day operations of offshore transmission assets in Scotland. The role suits a technically skilled and commercially aware professional with high standards in safety, asset performance, and stakeholder management.This position involves regular offshore travel, periodic visits to other UK sites, and participation in an out-of-hours response rota.Key Responsibilities:Lead safe and compliant site operations under high-voltage safety rulesManage O&M contractors and coordinate offshore and onshore maintenanceRespond to alarms/events and support root-cause analysisMaximise asset availability and performanceManage projects up to £500k, from planning to deliverySupport operational planning with system operators and wind farm partnersContribute to policy development and internal reportingRequirements:Degree or HNC in a relevant field (or equivalent experience)Background in power infrastructure, ideally offshore wind or UK electricity sectorHV SAP authorisation (≥132kV) Strong knowledge of electrical safety rules, asset management, and contract managementFamiliarity with protection, SCADA, switchgear, and submarine cable systemsGWO certification or willingness to obtainStrong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
