Job Description Financial Controller wanted in LiverpoolAbout the ClientOur client is a well-established, community-focused organisation operating within the social enterprise space and our a business with a strong emphasis on local impact and long-term sustainability.They are now seeking an experienced Financial Controller to bring structure, insight, and efficiency to their finance function.The RoleWe are looking for a hands-on, commercially aware Financial Controller to provide part-time, onsite support. This role will focus on improving financial visibility, strengthening controls, and driving better decision-making through high-quality reporting and process improvements.Key ResponsibilitiesProduce timely and accurate monthly management information (MI)Lead budgeting and forecasting processesManage and optimise cashflow planning and reportingReview and streamline existing financial processesIdentify and implement automation opportunities to improve efficiencyOversee and optimise use of Xero as the core accounting systemSupport senior stakeholders with clear financial insights and recommendationsEnsure strong financial controls and best practices are in placeKey RequirementsProven experience as a Financial Controller or in a similar senior finance roleStrong experience with XeroDemonstrated ability to improve processes and implement automationExperience delivering clear and actionable management informationStrong cashflow management and budgeting expertiseComfortable working onsite in Liverpool on a part-time basisExperience working with SMEs, charities, or social enterprises is advantageousProactive, hands-on, and able to work autonomouslyLocation: Liverpool (Onsite)Rate: 35 per hourHours: 2 days per weekAbout UsThe Part-Time Finance People provide flexible, high-quality finance support to growing organisations that need senior expertise without full-time overhead.
