Data & ML Engineer Newcastle (Hybrid) Build intelligent data products. Deploy real-world AI. Scale modern data platforms. A global consultancy is expanding its data capability and hiring a Data & ML Engineer to deliver high-impact solutions across enterprise clients. This is a hands-on engineering role where youll design pipelines, deploy machine learning models, and help shape modern AI-driven systems. What youll be doing Build and optimise data pipelines and ML workflows Develop and deploy ML models (NLP, deep learning, AI applications) Work with streaming and batch data pipelines across cloud platforms Implement CI/CD and MLOps frameworks Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions Support data modelling, governance, and quality initiatives What were looking for Experience with Python, SQL, Spark (and ideally Scala) Hands-on delivery of ML solutions in production Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Understanding of DevOps, containers, and Infrastructure-as-Code Strong problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills The offer Work on cutting-edge AI and ML projects Opportunity to grow within a high-performing engineering team Hybrid working model (Newcastle-based) Strong benefits and development opportunities Requirements: 3+ years experience, eligibility for UK security clearance.
