The role involves performing electrical work, maintenance, and repair on utility-scale solar photovoltaic systems. Responsibilities include installing, inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing solar PV systems in compliance with industry standards and safety protocols. The role also requires efficient problem-solving, adherence to guidelines, and collaboration with team members to ensure the successful operation of solar PV projects.QualificationsProficiency in Electricity and understanding of Electrical WorkExperience in Maintenance & Repair, and troubleshooting electrical systemsKnowledge of Electrical Engineering and ability to apply principles in practical settingsStrong safety awareness and commitment to following industry standardsRelevant certifications and qualifications in electrical work or solar PV systems (e.g., NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition, 2391 Testing and Inspection certification) are advantageousProven ability to perform well in a team and independently, with excellent problem-solving skillsPrevious experience in renewable energy or solar projects is a plusWillingness to travel across the UK as required by mobile projects
