Job Description Were looking for a Scientist to join a growing R&D team focused on developing next-generation CAR-T and cell therapies in oncology.Were partnered with a well-funded, high-growth biotech that is scaling its immunology and cell therapy capability at the core of the business.This is a Scientist-level role, embedded within R&D, where your lab work will directly inform experimental strategy and development decisions.What Youll Be DoingIsolate and work with primary human immune cells (PBMCs, T cells) from blood samplesCulture and maintain primary and mammalian cells under aseptic conditionsDesign, run, and optimise flow cytometry assays (immunophenotyping + functional analysis)Lead and refine functional immunology assays (cytotoxicity, cytokine release, proliferation)Contribute directly to CAR-T / T cell therapy workflows and developmentAnalyse, interpret, and present data to cross-functional stakeholdersMaintain high-quality experimental documentation (ELNs, SOPs)What Were Looking ForBSc, MSc, or PhD in Immunology, Cell Biology, or related fieldStrong hands-on experience with primary human cells (PBMC isolation essential)Proven background in CAR-T, T cell biology, or cell therapy (essential)Practical expertise in flow cytometry (e.g. FlowJo)Experience in biotech, pharma, or CRO environmentDesirableExperience with cell separation techniques (e.g. MACS)Exposure to advanced functional immunology assaysTrack record of contributing to cell therapy development programmesWhy This RoleWork directly on cutting-edge CAR-T / cell therapy programmesBe part of a fast-scaling biotech with strong funding and momentumJoin a collaborative, science-led team where your work drives real decisionsClear progression into Senior Scientist and beyond
