Job Description Workshop & Mobile Plant FitterOakfield Construction is seeking an experienced and reliable Workshop & Mobile Plant Fitter to join our plant maintenance team. This role involves carrying out servicing, repairs, and breakdown support both in the workshop and on-site, ensuring all plant and equipment remain in excellent working condition.Main Duties & Responsibilities:Perform servicing, maintenance, and repairs on plant and machinery in line with manufacturer specifications.Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs across a wide range of plant equipment.Attend on-site breakdowns and complete mobile repair work as required.Undertake workshop-based maintenance and repairs when not attending site work.Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company health & safety procedures.Accurately complete job cards, service reports, and maintenance records.Liaise with the Workshop Manager, Assistant Manager, and Parts Team to identify and source correct parts.Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in good working order.Support colleagues and contribute to a productive and positive workshop environment.Requirements:Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently.Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.High attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively.Flexible approach to work, including occasional weekend availability.Experience:Previous experience as a plant fitter, plant engineer, or in a similar role.Experience working with construction or agricultural machinery is essential.Licence/Certification:Full UK driving licence required.Job Details:Full-time, permanent position.Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays.Minimum of 40 hours per week.Benefits:Competitive salary.Overtime opportunities.Government pension scheme.28 days holiday (including bank holidays).Company uniform provided.Ongoing training and development.Work Location:Head Office, MoorgreenHow to Apply:To apply, please submit your CV to: [email protected]
