With a commitment to innovation and excellence, Eurotek Foundry Products prides itself on maintaining strong relationships with its clients whilst upholding industry standards.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a Graduate Technology & Regulatory Scientist, based in Elland, reporting to the Technical Manager. The role will include all aspects related to maintaining regulatory compliance of a UK based chemical business as well as leading the product development activities of the Company. The successful candidate will also collaborate with internal teams to ensure all technological and regulatory goals are achieved efficiently and effectively.The activities and responsibilities of this position will offer job satisfaction for those individuals who enjoy assessing, evaluating and interpreting data, who are hands-on, are motivated by the challenge of operating in a constantly changing environment and who are good team players.QualificationsGraduate, or about to graduate, in Polymer Science, Chemistry, Coatings Science or a related scientific disciplineAnalytical and numerate, with high level of accuracy and attention to detailCustomer orientated, with effective interpersonal & communication skills to allow a smooth interaction with the Business, Manufacturing and Sales functionsAdaptable, self-motivated individual with the ability to work within an international environment using own initiative and within a teamExperience in polymers, coatings or material science, with knowledge of reactive resins or chemical formulation techniques would be beneficial but is not essentialExperience in research and R&D projects would also be beneficial but is not essentialAble to adapt to new challenges, solve problems and stay updated with industry trendsStrong IT skillsIn return we offer a competitive salary with benefits, a commitment to helping develop your potential through training & mentoring and the opportunity for significant career development.
