Job Description

The Kitchen Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all daily food production operations to ensure high-quality output, efficient workflow, and full compliance with food safety standards. This position supervises kitchen production staff, coordinates schedules, monitors product quality, and ensures that production targets are consistently met. Sunday to Thursday between hours of 6am and 4pm Production & Operations Supervise and coordinate daily food production activities. Ensure all food items are prepared according to standardized recipes, portion guidelines, and quality standards. Monitor production schedules to meet service and delivery targets. Assign tasks to kitchen staff to optimize workflow and output. Assist with recipe scaling and production planning. 2. Food Safety & Quality Control Ensure compliance with HACCP and all food safety regulations. Conduct regular inspections of food quality, workstation cleanliness, and storage areas. Implement proper labeling, storage, and rotation procedures (FIFO). Identify production issues and take immediate corrective action. 3. Staff Supervision & Training Lead and supervise kitchen production staff. Provide training on food preparation, safety, and hygiene standards. Monitor employee performance and ensure adherence to company policies. 4. Inventory & Cost Management Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and kitchen supplies. Coordinate with purchasing to ensure timely stock replenishment. Reduce waste through proper portioning and batch production techniques. Track food usage and report variances or shortages. 5. Equipment & Safety Ensure all kitchen equipment is used properly and safely. Report equipment malfunctions and maintenance needs promptly. Maintain a safe and organized work environment. 6. Reporting & Communication Maintain accurate production records, logs, and reports. Communicate daily updates, concerns, and production results to management. Participate in production planning and improvement meetings. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in a kitchen production or supervisory role. Strong knowledge of commercial kitchen operations and food safety standards. Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. Culinary education or certification (preferred). Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
