Job Description Enjoy a long-term Electrician role working on a major refurbishment programme, with consistent work, strong hourly rates, and the opportunity to go permanent. Join an established electrical contractor delivering high-volume social housing projects, with ongoing work across multi-phase developments. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Electrician to secure stable work on a large-scale project converting former student accommodation into self-contained flats. Youll be working across multiple tower blocks, following a proven blueprint, with further phases already planned. Id love to see CVs from anyone who has worked as an Electrician, Installation Electrician, or Domestic Electrician, particularly within social housing or residential refurbishment environments.As an Electrician, you will be:Working on full rip-outs and rewires within residential flat conversionsCarrying out first fix and second fix electrical installationsInstalling consumer units and associated distribution equipmentCompleting multiple board changes (12 per day expected)Installing basic fire alarm systems and TV pointsWorking to programme deadlines across phased block delivery Id love to speak to anyone who has:NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent18th Edition Wiring RegulationsExperience in domestic or social housing projectsStrong experience with rewires, first fix and second fixConfidence installing and replacing consumer units at paceAbility to work efficiently within a team on a live site The role is offering the following benefits:26 per hour (approx.) depending on experienceLong-term contract with consistent workOpportunity to move into a permanent role after around 13 weeksEstablished site with ongoing phases of workSupportive team environment on a major project This Electrician role is offering a charge rate of around 26 per hour, depending on experience and setup, with long-term earning potential.Location & travel This role is based in Derby, with all work centred on a fixed site project.
