This is a fast-paced production environment with a strong focus on food safety, quality, and continuous improvement.The site operates to high retailer and industry standards, with quality at the heart of everything they do.The RoleReporting to the QA Supervisor / Quality Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring food safety, quality, and legality standards are consistently met across your shift.This is a hands-on role working closely with production, where you will be a key presence on the factory floor, ensuring compliance with BRC standards, HACCP controls, and internal procedures.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out GMP, hygiene, and fabrication audits across production areasComplete CCP checks and verification activitiesMonitor product quality, temperatures, and compliance standardsConduct paperwork audits and traceability exercisesSupport new product launches and control of labellingManage microbiological sampling and liaise with external laboratoriesEnsure compliance with BRC, retailer COPs, and site proceduresMaintain accurate records and support the Quality Management SystemCarry out glass and brittle plastic auditsVerify scales and check weighersSupport production teams and provide guidance on quality standardsUpdate KPIs and complete shift reportsAbout YouPrevious experience in a QA or Quality role within food manufacturingStrong understanding of food safety standards, HACCP, and GMPConfident working independently on a night shiftHigh attention to detail with strong organisational skillsAble to prioritise workload and work under pressureStrong communication skills across production and technical teamsProactive approach with the ability to challenge where requiredWhat's On Offer30,971 per annumStable, well-established businessOpportunity to work within a high-volume FMCG environmentSupportive team with strong quality standardsOngoing development and progression opportunitiesWhy JoinThis is a great opportunity to join a business where quality is critical to site performance.
