To support this, we are looking for an experienced Senior HR Advisor to provide highlevel, specialist Employee Relations expertise across the organisation.nThis is a pivotal role for a confident HR professional who can lead on complex and highrisk ER matters, act as a trusted partner to managers and stakeholders and coach and develop capability across the wider HR function.nYou will operate with credibility, pragmatism and strong professional judgement, ensuring peoplerelated decisions are fair, valuesled and legally sound.n n n n Role Responsibilityn What youll be responsible fornnActing as a trusted advisor to leaders and managers, providing pragmatic, valuesled Employee Relations advice across a wide range of complex and sensitive mattersnLeading complex ER cases including disciplinaries, grievances, appeals and highrisk investigations, ensuring matters are managed fairly, consistently and in line with policy and legislationnCoaching and supporting managers to build confidence and capability in managing people issues effectivelynActing as a point of escalation for HR Advisors, offering guidance, challenge and professional support to build capability across the HR teamnIdentifying themes, trends and risks across ER activity and proactively recommending early interventionsnProducing clear updates, reports and insights for stakeholders to support informed decisionmakingnSupporting organisational change activity, including TUPE transfers and basic restructures, ensuring endtoend people processes are managed effectivelynContributing to the development and review of people policies, ensuring they reflect legislative change and organisational prioritiesnSupporting the ER Manager with ACAS conciliation and Employment Tribunal preparation, where requirednnHow youll operatennYou build strong, trustbased relationships and are seen as a credible and calm professional, particularly in highpressure or sensitive situationsnYou take a proactive, solutionsfocused approach, scanning for patterns and risks rather than reacting to issues in isolationnYou balance support and challenge, coaching managers and HR colleagues to raise standards and capabilitynYou manage a demanding caseload effectively, ensuring records, case notes and correspondence are clear, accurate and up to datenn n n n The Ideal Candidaten What were looking fornnProven experience working at Senior HR Advisor level in a large, complex or matrix organisationnStrong expertise in complex Employee Relations case management, including highrisk and sensitive mattersnExperience of supporting or leading TUPE transfers and organisational changenConfidence in coaching managers and acting as an escalation point for HR colleaguesnExperience producing ER data, insights and reports to inform decisionmakingnSound knowledge of UK employment law, with the ability to translate this into practical advicenCIPD Level 5 qualification (minimum)nnnYou will appreciate the value of management information, identifying trends and taking action on it. You will be familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and able to maintain data records. You may have worked with iTrent. As part of the people team, you will be a great team player, willing to roll your sleeves up and turn your hand to anything; you will support your colleagues when they need help - just as they would for you. Hierarchy and status will not be important to you; you will simply want to do a good job.
