Working as a Production Team Leader you will supervise assembly operatives, ensuring production processes run efficiently, targets are achieved and quality standards are maintained. As a Production Team Leader you will play a key role in team leadership, coaching staff, troubleshooting issues and supporting continuous improvement across the assembly line. You will also support operational performance by monitoring workflow, maintaining health and safety standards and contributing ideas to improve productivity and efficiency. DUTIES Your duties as the Production Team Leader include: Team Supervision: Overseeing assembly operatives to ensure productivity targets and quality standards are met Instruction Delivery: Providing clear guidance and direction to support efficient workflow on the production line Performance Monitoring: Tracking output and identifying any issues affecting production or quality Problem Solving: Troubleshooting operational challenges and resolving disruptions promptly Staff Coaching: Supporting and training new or less experienced team members Process Improvement: Suggesting enhancements to improve efficiency and productivity Quality Assurance: Ensuring all assembly work meets required standards and specifications Health and Safety Compliance: Promoting safe working practices and adherence to regulations Key Holding Responsibility: Supporting site security and operational responsibility when required CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS Essential Previous experience in light production and hands-on assembly work Proven experience in a supervisory or team leader role within manufacturing Ability to lead a team with empathy and an approachable manner Strong communication skills with the ability to deliver clear instructions Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced production environment Good understanding of manufacturing health and safety procedures Ability to work independently and take ownership of shift operations Quality-focused mindset with attention to detail Desirable Experience in fabrication or related manufacturing processes CNC machinery experience Forklift licence Understanding of production machinery and assembly procedures Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics APPLY TODAY By submitting your job application to us you are hereby giving us your express consent to submit your details to our Client for this purpose.
