Job Description As a HVAC Service Engineer at Emtec Climate Solutions, youll be responsible for keeping our customers HVAC systems performing at their best.From preventative maintenance to urgent breakdown responses, youll work across a variety of systems including splits, VRV/F, chillers, heat pumps, AHUs and close control units.Youll be part of a growing, technically skilled team, with the tools, training, and support to deliver a high-quality service that keeps our customers coming back.This is a field based role across Greater Manchester, Lancashire and Greater Liverpool, and may require occasional overnight stays across nationwide locations.This position also requires an Enhanced DBS check to be completed.What youll be doing:Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on HVAC systems including splits, VRV/VRF, chillers, heat pumps, AHUs and close control unitsDiagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently in live environmentsRespond to reactive breakdown callouts and restore systems with minimal downtimeReplace faulty components safely and in line with compliance standardsComplete leak checks, performance inspections and required service documentationCommunicate clearly with customers and site contacts while maintaining a professional approachProvide recommendations to improve system reliability and performanceFollow all health 'safety requirements including RAMS, permits and site proceduresTravel to sites nationwide, with occasional overnight staysWhat were looking for:3+ years experience in commercial servicing and maintenance of HVAC systems, including AC, VRV/F, AHUs and chillersStrong diagnostic and problem solving skills in live environmentsUnderstanding of Health and Safety and Compliance regulationsAbility to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprintsFamiliarity with planned maintenance systems and digital job management toolsA basic understanding of electrics and controls would be advantageous, however full training will be providedEssential qualifications required:Possession of a valid CSCS cardFull UK driving licenceF-Gas Category 1qualification (City & Guilds 2079 or equivalent)NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration and Air ConditioningCITB Pipework and BrazingWhat we offer:Overtime opportunities25 days annual leave + bank holidaysHealth cash plan and death in serviceCompany pension schemeCompany vehicle, fuel card and all tools/equipment providedFull uniform and PPETablet/laptop and digital systems for job managementAbout Emtec Climate Solutions:Emtec Climate Solutions is a growing HVAC specialist based in Warrington, delivering service, maintenance, and installation solutions to clients across the UK.
