This role offers genuine opportunities for career progression as the business expands.The Role: You will work on a wide range of vehicle makes and models, carrying out repairs, diagnostics, and servicing. Unlike many dealerships, we focus on repairing rather than replacing wherever possible, including engine rebuilds and cost-effective solutions for our customers.This is a varied role that provides excellent opportunities to develop your skills and avoid repetitive work. Ongoing training and development will be provided where needed.You will be based in a fully equipped workshop using modern diagnostic equipment and specialist tools, working within a relaxed and supportive team environment.Key Responsibilities:Carry out servicing and repairs on customer and sales vehiclesPerform vehicle inspections and identify faultsComplete Vehicle Health ChecksConduct road tests for diagnostics and quality checksCommunicate effectively with the service team and customersObtain authorisation for any additional work requiredAbout You:Qualified Vehicle Technician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent preferred)Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role (preferred)Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skillsGood communication skills with colleagues and customersPassionate about the motor trade and continuous developmentKey Attributes:Team playerQuality focusedHonest with high levels of integrityExperience with vehicle electrical systems and diagnostics (training can be provided)Career Development:Opportunities to progress into senior or specialist technician rolesOngoing training and upskilling, including diagnostics and advanced repair techniquesPay progression linked to skill developmentThe Package:Salary: 30,000 40,000 (depending on experience)Monday to Friday, 08:30 17:15 (no weekends)Company pension scheme20 days holiday plus bank holidaysOn-site parking availableConveniently located in Chorley with good local transport linksTo apply for the Vehicle Technician role based in Chorley, please send a copy of your CV using the apply button provided or contact us directly with your details.Applications will be processed within 7 days of receipt.
