You'll play a key part in driving efficiencies, supporting growth, and maintaining high standards across all contractual obligations.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate tender submissions and bid activityManage contract performance against KPIs and SLAsBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and partnersSupport commercial activities including material sales and logistics coordinationIdentify and deliver continuous improvement initiativesProduce detailed reports to support operational and commercial decision-makingEnsure full compliance with regulatory and contractual requirementsSpot and develop new commercial opportunitiesPromote a culture of safety, collaboration, and high performanceRepresent the business at industry events when requiredAbout YouEssential:Proven experience in contract or account managementBackground within waste, recycling, or a related sectorStrong stakeholder management and communication skillsHighly organised with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesCommercially aware with a proactive mindsetStrong written and reporting skills with attention to detailConfident user of Microsoft Office and digital systemsFull UK driving licenceDesirable:Experience managing logistics or haulage operationsExposure to commercial portfolios or P&L responsibilityLevel 5 in Leadership & Management (or equivalent) preferredWR Logistics are the #1 recruitment partner for all vacancies in the logistics industry.
