With a strong reputation for reliability and service, they are looking to expand their engineering team with an experienced Workshop Engineer.The RoleThis is a workshop-based position responsible for the service, maintenance and repair of a fleet of heavy plant and equipment.You will play a key role in ensuring machinery is prepared, maintained and returned to site in excellent working condition.Key ResponsibilitiesService, maintain and repair a wide range of plant equipmentDiagnose and fault find mechanical, hydraulic and basic electrical issuesCarry out PDI's and inspections on equipmentPrepare machines for hire and ensure they meet safety standardsComplete job sheets and service records accuratelyWork closely with the hire desk and operations teamEquipment You May Work OnExcavatorsDumpersRollersTelehandlersSmall tools & ancillary equipmentWhat We're Looking ForExperience working as a Plant Engineer / Workshop EngineerStrong mechanical and hydraulic knowledgeBasic electrical fault finding skillsExperience within plant hire, construction or similar environmentsReliable, organised and able to work independentlyFull UK Driving Licence (desirable)Package45,000 to 50,000 salaryStable, workshop-based role Overtime opportunitiesOngoing training and developmentLong-term career progressionThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer looking for a stable, well-paid workshop role within a reputable plant hire business.JBRP1_UKTJ
