Job Description Job Title:Site Support AssistantBased:Kington, Herefordshire, HR5Hours:Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 8hr/day OR Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 6hr/day (24hrs pw)Hourly Pay:12.58 15.00 (depending on experience)We are looking to recruit a keen, hardworking individual to join our team, carrying out a support role for our on-site electrical installation engineers.The role is key in ensuring operational efficiency by maintaining accurate inventory records, optimising stock availability, and supporting project readiness.This position not only safeguards the integrity of stock data but also provides critical logistical support to site installation and panel-building teams, ensuring seamless execution of projects.Please note that Visa sponsorship is not offered; applicants must have the permanent right to work in the UK.Main Duties and RequirementsStock ControlUsing the ERP system, order components required for the job or stock replenishmentReceipt and allocation of Goods InJob picking as per bill of materials (BOM)Allocating material from stores to vans and liaising with the site teamsObtaining material pricing for quotation purposesData input of delivery notes onto systemCreate delivery notes and book carriers for shipments going outConduct weekly check of stock levels against pre-printed schedules and order replacement stock as requiredScan A4 drawings, notes and other documents relating to the job and save in ERP systemEnsure documentation and paperwork is accurately and appropriately filed/savedWork with management to ensure effective forward planningIdentify and communicate issues that affect quality, efficiency and wasteSite SupportBooking accommodation for members of the site teamPrinting labels and cable IDs (when required)Fleet ManagementMaintaining vehicle service recordsMaintaining van PUWER checks and refuelling recordEnsuring vehicles are well maintainedEnsuring vehicles are restocked as requiredGeneralBuild good working relations with external customers, suppliers and stakeholdersWork in partnership with other areas of the business including Accounts, Design, H&S and HRFront-line telephone and email answeringTroubleshootingFull valid driving licence desirable but not essentialBenefits30 days paid holiday including 8 statutory holidays plus additional holiday after 3 years continuous service (up to 33 days)Annual bonus depending on personal and company performanceDeath in Service benefit (up to age 65)Enhanced maternity/paternity payContributory PensionFree on-site parkingCycle to Work Scheme (after one year of continuous employment)All appropriate and relevant PPE provided including Company branded clothingTraining will be provided where requiredThe employer fully supports Equality in Employment.
