Your primary focus will be coordinating all technical information between external consultants and internal departments, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, compliantly, and to the highest standards.You will support multiple operating companies, including Structural & Civil Engineering, Construction, Building Services, and Facilities Management, contributing to design coordination, structural detailing, architectural support, and quality assuranceRemunerationSalary: 65,000 - 70,000 (dependent on experience)Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00 (Earlier finish on a Friday)25 days leave (in addition to public holidays), plus an additional birthday bonusSalary Sacrifice Pension SchemeDeath in Service BenefitProfit Share SchemeCycle to Work SchemeKey ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the full design process across multiple projectsCoordinate technical information between internal teams and external consultantsEnsure all necessary approvals are obtained from stakeholders and local authorities, including section agreements and service applicationsProvide technical input during feasibility and throughout the construction phaseManage the timely distribution of design information to relevant partiesCoordinate legal and compliance requirements, including agreements, bonds, warranties, and insurancesIdentify, appoint, and manage external consultants, including agreeing scope, fees, and deliverablesOversee submission of building regulations and warranty applicationsDevelop and maintain detailed design programmes, identifying key milestones and critical pathsSupport, manage, and develop members of the internal design teamConduct quality reviews to ensure construction aligns with design specificationsCoordinate planning and building control approvals and manage discharge of conditionsEssential QualificationsHNC/HND in Construction & Engineering or equivalentEssential Experience & SkillsExperience with a main contractor, architectural practice, or in design coordination/architectural technologyStrong communication skills with the ability to manage and lead a teamProven ability to manage consultants and warranty providersAbility to identify risks and implement effective solutionsExperience monitoring and managing the design processFamiliarity with drawing management systems (e.g., Viewpoint, PIM, online portals)Experience managing RFIs and liaising with multidisciplinary teamsUnderstanding of value engineering principlesProactive and organised approach to workStreamline Search is a technical recruitment agency based in Chichester, West Sussex operating across the United Kingdom. xjdpvnf We are acting as a Recruitment Agency in relation to this vacancy, and in accordance with GDPR by applying to this post you are granting us consent to process your data and contact you in relation to this application.
