Make sure all lights and Solar PV Systems fitted are running as efficiently as they can while making sure the fitting is always legally compliant and of a high standard. Carrying out various aspects of testing, inspection, and commissioning of installs, ensuring a high quality is maintained at all times.Providing customer support and interaction during electrical installs.Carrying out on site risk assessments and maintaining safe working practices.Ensuring personnel, and possibly sub-contractors, under your control fully understand and adhere to their job requirements.Motivate, coach and develop the individuals working with you. Taking full ownership for personal health and safety responsibilities and that of the team, ensuring PPE is worn at all times, and the reporting of any non-compliance to the Electrical Supervisor or Health & Safety Coordinator.To be responsible for personal health and safety and be aware of obligations to other employees and customers in accordance with legislation.Undertaking any other reasonable tasks as requested by the business. Responsible for upholding our values, leading by example and the workplace culture.Key Skills & QualificationsExperience as a qualified electrician Experience working on the installation of Solar PV systems, battery storage and EV ChargingLevel 3 NVQ Diploma in the Installation of electrotechnical systems or equivalent 18th Edition2391 test and inspect ECS, IPAF, Asbestos Awareness, PASMA. Ability to problem solve using your own initiative Be Self-motivated but also have the ability to manage and motivate others and work as part of a team.Desirable QualificationsJIB Gold Card (or equivalent) and up-to-date CSCS card (or the qualification required to obtain)Proven experience in commercial installations (ideally solar PV, LED lighting, or renewables).Solar PV specific qualificationsBasic First AidIPAF and PASMA qualifications
