Main duties of the jobThe candidate would be expected to be proficient in all aspects of diagnostic and interventional head and neck radiology, including plain film, US, CT (including CBCT) and MRI. Other duties would include supporting our fluoroscopic radiographers with vetting and reporting sialograms and our head and neck sonographers with reviewing neck ultrasound images. The candidate would be expected to take part in the head and neck and thyroid MDTs as well as the clinicoradiological meetings including the parathyroid meeting. This is a big teaching trust with a radiology academy and it would be expected that the candidate would take part in the ST part 2 teaching program on a Thursday pm in the head and neck modules. The successful candidate would participate in the general on call rota, support MDTs, research and teaching. Job plan flexibility with consideration of extended working hours would be desirable.
