Job Description Imperial Recruitment Group is delighted to announce that we are recruiting on behalf of a large Engineering organisation to appoint an Electrical Estimator on a permanent basis.Job Title: Electrical EstimatorLocation: TeessidePackage: Competitive Employment Opportunity: PermanentOverview of the role:Reporting to a Senior Electrical Estimator you will be responsible for electrical estimating of heavy engineering projects as and when necessary, across the UK & Ireland.Key Responsibilities are but not limited to:Turning specifications and tender information into quotationsEnsure that tender documents are correct and technically accurateTimely preparation of and submission of electrical tendersAttend site visits and client briefingsWork closely with clients and other colleagues to review tenders and handoversFinalisation of all tender bids and attending pre-order meetings to secure contracts and hand over to Project ManagersWorking to tight deadlinesLiaising with customers to review, interpret, and understand customer electrical specifications/requirementsMaintain electrical specification confirmations for all contracts, identifying and costing for up charges and requesting concessionsDeveloping key relationships with the supply chain and with customers/specifiers.To be considered for this fantastic opportunity you will have:Minimum of 5 years experience working as an Estimator or Electrical Engineer performing an Estimator role with well-established general contractor knowledge in this type of workExperience required as an Electrical estimator in the Pharmaceutical, Industrial, Power Generation, Oil & Gas industry, preferably.Travel between Ireland and UK will be an essential part of the roleStrong analytical, mathematical and general IT skillsAccurate & able to work aloneExperience of working under pressureA proven track recordFor more information on this fantastic opportunity please contact Adam Pearson at Imperial Recruitment Group.Imperial Recruitment Group is committed to being an equal opportunities employer.
