Job Description Senior / Master Fleet Vehicle TechnicianWe are looking for an experiencedSenior / Master Technicianto take a leading role in maintaining and repairing our fleet of vans and buses.This is not a retail dealership role.This is not a steady 95 servicing line.This is a critical fleet operation where vehicles need to be safe, compliant, and back on the road sometimes urgently.If you thrive under responsibility, take ownership, and understand the realities of fleet work, this could be an excellent opportunity.The RoleYou will be responsible for the maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of a mixed fleet of commercial vans and buses, ensuring all vehicles meet safety and compliance standards.The nature of fleet operations means:Workloads can fluctuatePriorities can change at short noticeOccasional flexibility around hours may be requiredThis role requires dedication, dependability, and a proactive mindset.Responsibilities:Diagnosing, servicing, and repairing fleet vans and busesWorking to DVSA and manufacturer standardsCompleting work in line with approved repair methods and compliance requirementsWorking confidently with garage management software and digital job systemsManaging preventative maintenance schedulesIdentifying issues before they become breakdownsSupporting and mentoring junior techniciansMaintaining detailed and accurate job recordsUpholding high standards of safety, compliance, and workshop disciplineWhat Were Looking ForWe need someone senior, experienced, and resilient.Essential:Master Technician / Level 4 qualification or equivalent senior experienceStrong diagnostic experience (electrical, mechanical, and systems faults)Experience working on commercial vehicles (vans and/or buses preferred)Comfortable working to approved times and compliance standardsExperience using workshop management systemsA flexible and dependable approach to working hoursThe ability to remain calm and solutions-focused under pressureA team-first attitude and willingness to mentor othersDesirable:EV / Hybrid commercial vehicle experiencePSV or HGV experienceWho This Role SuitsThis role will suit someone who:Understands the responsibility that comes with fleet safetyDoesnt need micromanagingCan adapt when the day doesnt go to planTakes pride in reliability and professionalismWants to play a key role in keeping essential vehicles operationalWhat We OfferSalary up to 60,000 per year (DOE)A senior, respected position within the workshopLong-term stabilityA professional, structured environmentThe opportunity to lead and influence standardsPlease NoteThis is a demanding role within a live fleet operation.We are looking for long-term commitment and someone who fully understands the expectations that come with this level of responsibility.If that sounds like you, wed welcome your application.Job Type: Full-timePay: 40,000.00-60,000.00 per yearWork Location: In person
