This is a business where your contribution directly impacts supply chain efficiency and customer satisfaction.Position OverviewAs Senior Buyer, you'll lead the procurement function and play a central role in optimising the organisation's sourcing strategy. You'll manage supplier relationships, oversee day-to-day procurement operations, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure business continuity.ResponsibilitiesIdentify, evaluate and select suppliers whilst building and maintaining strong, productive relationshipsDevelop and implement procurement strategies that align with organisational objectives and cost targetsMonitor market trends and analyse purchasing data to optimise sourcing decisions and identify savings opportunitiesTrack and report on procurement key performance indicators to measure effectiveness and identify areas for improvementIdentify potential supply chain risks and develop mitigation plans to ensure business continuityCollaborate with operations and finance teams on forecasting, budgeting and strategic planningLead customer tender negotiations and conduct thorough supplier analysis to support business developmentRequirementsProven experience in purchasing or procurement roles with a strong track record of effective supplier managementExceptional organisational skills and keen attention to detail in managing multiple prioritiesExcellent communication and interpersonal abilities for building productive relationships with internal and external stakeholdersHigh proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reportingAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentProactive problem-solving approach with a continuous improvement mindsetThis is a 5 day onsite position.Competitive salary bracket with bonus and benefits Unfortunately sponsorship is not available for this position.
