Job Description Early Years Practitioner Level 3Location: Langport, Somerset (TA10)Pay Rate: 12.70 per hour (PAYE) or 15.87 per hour (Umbrella)Contract Length: Approximately 3 monthsHours: 40 hours per weekSchedule: 8:00am 5:30pm or 8:30am 5:00pmSeven Resourcing are currently recruiting for an Early Years Practitioner (Level 3) to join a childrens service in Langport, Somerset. This is a temporary opportunity providing cover while permanent staff are recruited.This role will involve supporting the day-to-day care, development, and learning of young children within an early years setting. The successful candidate will help create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment that promotes childrens wellbeing and development.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the delivery of high-quality early years education and childcare.Assist with planning and delivering age-appropriate learning and play activities.Promote childrens social, emotional, and developmental progress.Maintain a safe and stimulating environment for children.Work closely with colleagues to ensure continuity of care and learning.Follow safeguarding procedures and maintain accurate records where required.Support children with their daily routines, including meals, play, and rest periods.RequirementsLevel 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare (or equivalent).Previous experience working in an early years or nursery setting.Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.Strong communication and teamwork skills.A caring and patient approach when supporting young children.Additional InformationThe role is 40 hours per week for approximately 3 months.Working hours will be either 8:00am 5:30pm or 8:30am 5:00pm.Job share options may be considered, provided candidates can commit to consistent set days to ensure continuity for the children.Working with Seven ResourcingJoin Seven Resourcing and benefit from over a decade of expertise in connecting professionals with exciting career opportunities.
