Job Description Owen Reed is looking for a Legal PA for a top law firm in Birmingham with background in Disputes.We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Legal PA to join a highly regarded Dispute Resolution team. This role will provide high-level support to partners and fee earners within a busy litigation environment, working on a broad range of disputes including litigation, arbitration and mediation.This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive Legal PA who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team.Key ResponsibilitiesComplex diary and mailbox management for partners and fee earnersCoordinating meetings, travel arrangements and maintaining calendarsOpening and closing files and maintaining accurate electronic filing systemsActing as a gatekeeper for fee earner inboxes and prioritising communicationsLiaising with clients and handling general enquiriesPreparing urgent documents through digital and non-digital dictationDelegating work to Document Production and administrative teams where appropriateBilling & Financial SupportMonitoring time recording and reminding fee earners where necessaryRunning and distributing WIP reportsPreparing draft billing narratives and invoicesSupporting partners with month-end billing processesLiaising with client accounts teams to resolve billing queriesMarketing & Business DevelopmentSupporting website updates, lawyer profiles and online contentMaintaining fee earner CVs and credentials for bidsUpdating the InterAction CRM system and marketing listsAssisting with credentials documents and expressions of interestCoordinating conference calls and arranging international travel itinerariesAdditional DutiesSupporting new client onboarding using InTapp IntakeAssisting with AML documentation and engagement lettersUndertaking conflict checks and other administrative tasks as requiredProviding support to team members across the practice group when neededSkills & ExperiencePrevious Legal PA experience, ideally within Dispute Resolution or LitigationExperience liaising with Courts and CounselExperience producing court bundles (electronic and hard copy)Strong organisation, prioritisation and diary management skillsExcellent communication and client service skillsFast and accurate typing with strong attention to detailProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Experience using legal finance systems, document management and CRM systems
