Job Description Vickerstock are working in partnership with a growing organisation to recruit a HSEQ Officer.As HSEQ Officer, you will work closely with operational teams, managers, and external stakeholders to ensure Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality standards are maintained across all activities. This role combines practical site engagement with system administration and performance monitoring, ensuring compliance with ISO management systems and legal obligations while driving continuous improvement initiatives.In your new role:Provide HSEQ guidance and support to managers, supervisors, and operational teamsEnsure compliance with company procedures, client requirements, and relevant legislationConduct site audits and inspections, producing clear reports and tracking corrective actionsSupport continuous improvement initiatives through KPI monitoring, audits, and targeted HSEQ programmesAssist in maintaining and improving ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systemsInvestigate incidents, non-conformances, and root causes, recommending corrective and preventive actionsDeliver HSEQ inductions, training sessions, and toolbox talks where requiredSupport the development and review of risk assessments, quality plans, and safe systems of workMaintain HSEQ documentation, records, registers, and reporting systemsAssist with internal and external audits, tender documentation, and prequalification submissionsMaintain strong communication with clients, suppliers, and project teams to ensure consistent HSEQ standardsWhat you will need to succeed:Relevant qualification in Health & Safety, Environmental Management, Quality, or a related discipline (or currently working towards)Working knowledge of HSEQ legislation and management systemsGood communication skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a team environmentIT and numeracy skills (MS Office)Full clean UK driving licenseDesirable (it would be great if you have this, but don't worry if you don't):Previous experience in a HSEQ, Health & Safety, or compliance-related roleExposure to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systemsExperience supporting audits, incident investigations, or compliance reportingFor a more detailed brief and a confidential conversation on how Vickerstock can help support you with your next move, get in touch with Sam Geddis, our Health and Safety Specialist today.
