They are looking for a Senior Product Design Engineer to join their growing team and play a key role in designing innovative products from concept through to manufacture. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with production teams while developing practical, real-world engineering solutions.The RoleAs a Senior Product Design Engineer, you will be responsible for developing innovative product designs while ensuring they are fully optimised for manufacturing. You will collaborate with internal teams to take concepts through to production-ready solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop bespoke products using 3D CAD software (SolidWorks).Produce detailed technical drawings and product specifications for manufacturing.Create production-ready programmes for CNC machinery, ensuring a smooth transition from design to manufacturing.Work closely with surveyors, estimators, and production teams to deliver accurate and buildable designs.Contribute to research and development (R&D) initiatives to drive product innovation.Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards.Apply Design for Manufacture (DFM) principles, particularly within sheet metal fabrication environments.About YouWe are looking for someone who enjoys solving engineering challenges and thrives in a collaborative manufacturing environment.Essential Skills & ExperienceProficiency in 3D CAD software, ideally SolidWorks.Experience working with sheet metal and fabrication machinery.Experience producing production-ready drawings for manufacturing.Experience with CAD/CAM programming, ideally including SigmaNest.Knowledge of CNC programming, preferably for laser cutting or punching machines.Salary & BenefitsCompetitive Salary - 38,000-42,000Strong Career ProgressionTraining & Development with ongoing technical development and supportModern Facilities: Work with advanced manufacturing equipmentSupportive Culture: Join a collaborative, family-owned business where your ideas matterReady to Apply?If you're looking for an opportunity to develop innovative engineering solutions and grow your career within a supportive and forward-thinking company, wed love to hear from you.Apply today to take the next step in your engineering career.
