Job Description Estimator Passive Fire / ConstructionLocation: BrentwoodSalary: 36,000 50,000 per annumHours: Monday Friday, 08:00 17:00 (40 hours/week)We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Estimator to support pricing tenders and enquiries, client relations, and project planning. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in passive fire protection or the wider construction industry.Key ResponsibilitiesEnquiry ProcessingRun survey reports, take-offs, and mark up drawings for pricingPrice fire doors and passive fire systems using software and controlled processesConduct site visits where necessary and prepare defect schedulesClient RelationsComplete client tenders for passive fire worksCommunicate quality standards proactively to clientsAttend supply chain meetings and relevant industry eventsProject Budgeting and PlanningAssess and cost labour requirementsObtain and analyse material quotations from the supply chainPrepare project programmesGeneral DutiesKeep up to date with products, installation techniques, legislation, and industry best practicesParticipate in internal/external meetings as requiredSupport ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001 standards and best working practicesUndertake ad-hoc duties as requiredRequirementsIdeally, knowledge of passive fire protection with an IFE/ASFP qualificationIf not, solid construction industry experienceStrong organisational and communication skillsProactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple enquiries/projectsThis is a great opportunity to join a professional team, work on varied projects, and develop your expertise in passive fire protection and construction.
